It’s SCARY out there on the Interwebs!

I have a simple static website. No transactions, no confidential information, nothing but a few pages and images.

If the hackers have upped their attempts on my website lately, I can only imagine what those who really have something to secure are putting up with.

Here is one page of a few that showed a single hacker, using a robot, trying to brute force their way onto my website, using an ‘admin’ login.

In my opinion, Mr. Zuckerberg knew this headline news was a possibility all along. He isn’t without intelligence, after all.

Just as when I listened to the CEO of Blackberry apologize to the masses about recent service outages and delays, I wonder at the over-the-top apologies and addition of more regulations and audits. Is it because we believe in magic now? Should I start writing to Santa Claus again?

We accuse our technology providers of deceiving us, when in reality we are deceiving ourselves.
